The grown-ups

Okay, several people have mentioned that we are always sending pics of the girls, but never any of us. I got several complaints that our Christmas pics were just the girls, and R and I weren't in them! Well, I am usually the one behind the camera (which is perfectly fine with me) and R isn't here very often, so we just have an abundance of pics of the girls. But, we actually took some pics of each other, so I thought I would send them out, and maybe it would work to quiet the disgruntled picture viewers!! : )

In her dreams...

A has recently discovered the photo album of T's trip to Disney World a few years ago with her MiMi & PaPa. A pulls it off the bookshelf, lays in the floor, and stares longingly at the pictures without saying a word. She will stay completely immersed in the pictures, oblivious to all that's going on around her, for 30 minutes at a time! I think we are going to HAVE to find a way to make this little princess's dreams come true...

Okay, I know I might be a little biased, but they just look so cute when they aren't fighting, and they actually seem to want to be around each other!!! These moments are VERY few and far between, so when they arise we have to capture them!!

Family Movie Night!

The girls are all settled in to their comfy chairs (thanks so much MiMi & PaPa!!) with their bowl of popcorn, ready for the movie of the week! We have been doing Family Movie Night every week...we make pizza, then have popcorn and a movie...and the girls absolutely love it! R and I actually enjoy it too! Some weeks its the only night we get to all be together as a family...

The new girl in our house

This is R's new girlfriend. He met her in the store, and just could not pass her up! She was willing to come home with him, and he has been enjoying her ever since! I do believe he is in love! I'm on the sidelines now...she has measurements I just can't compete with! The girls are pretty fond of her, too! Sable and I agree that she just seems big, loud, and obnoxious!! (Please disregard the masking tape on the shelf...R and my dad built that over Christmas, and I am just now painting it!)

Look who's 8...

Sable also had a birthday recently. She turned 8 on Jan. 1st. She has become an inside dog most of the time now, so she spends a lot of time hanging out with us, getting some much needed love.

Look who's 5...

We had two birthday parties for A. She had one on her birthday while my parents were here. She went to Build A Bear Workshop and got to make a very special bear...she has been waiting to do that for a while now! She was very excited! The second party was her first party with her "school friends". She invited all her little friends from her class, and had a gymnastics party at the Y. They all had a blast!!

We thought we would give this website thing a try...we are all so spread out now that we thought this would be a good way to keep in touch. Thought we would start with T's birthday. She was a LITTLE excited about all the horses she got for her birthday.
